It’s been a busy Fall at Life Home Health as our clients living with Dementia worked alongside our Client Care Coordinator Karen Scott to make no-sew blankets for the Pediatric unit at NCH.
“My heart is full” says Karen, who loves all things crafty and led this meaningful project. Together, the team made 9 blankets which they delivered to patients at NCH onThursday, December 13th.
“Not only did the blankets bring joy to the patients and employees at the hospital, but they were so much fun to make,” adds Karen. “It was great to be able to engage the ladies in this project and we hope to continue making blankets throughout the year.”
To keep this project going year-round, we are inviting corporate sponsors to help cover the costs of materials. A $20 contribution covers the cost of a blanket.
